“Shadow 01” introduces the series with an expression of fluidity and structure. Thick, bold splashes of black paint sit atop layers of gray, creating a dramatic contrast. The drips of paint give the impression of gravity pulling the shadows downward, suggesting a sense of movement. The rough, raw strokes make the painting feel alive and almost chaotic, yet the soft background tones provide balance and calmness. “Shadow 01” is a meditation on the weight and presence of shadows, inviting viewers to consider the spaces that are often overlooked.

Made in Germany
All artworks are handmade to the highest standards with exceptional quality. The professional canvases are mounted over stretcher-frames with a depth of approximately 4.5 cm. They are covered with a cotton blend fabric that features a white, slightly absorbent universal primer and a uniform medium texture, weighing 330 g/m². The fabric is folded over and stapled at the back. Hardwood wedges are included to allow for future adjustments of the fabric tension.
